Our People
The Genesee Figure Skating Club’s activities are directed by
a Board of Governors comprised of twelve resident senior members of
the club and up to two additional members who are the chairpersons
of the Rules and Ice and Junior Activities committees. The Junior
Board and Committee Chairpersons round out this dedicated group of
volunteers.

The Board of Governors usually meets on the third Wednesday of
each month unless otherwise specified.
Junior Board
The Junior Board is comprised of eight members. The group meets
regularly from September through April. The Junior Board has the
authority to guide Junior activities and to make suggestions to
the Junior Activities Chairperson concerning skating during the
Junior sessions. Various events are planned by the Junior Board
throughout the year. These include, but are not limited to: the
Next-to-New Sale, North Atlantics Send-Off Party, a cookie contest,
and the Music Interpretation Competition.
