2008 MUSIC INTERPRETATION RESULTS
Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated volunteers the Music Interpretation Competition was held at the Skating Institute of Rochester on Sunday afternoon, 27 April, 2008. Special thanks go to Keri Stanley, Junior Activities Chair, and to Ellen Edmundson, Genesee Express maven, for their efforts.
There were a good number of participants many of whom were experiencing competition for the very first time. They were supported by lots of cheering parents. Fun and food were had by all. Everyone had a trophy to take home!
Annie Edmundson and Kristy Wright graciously skated their events without competitors. What a treat it was to watch each lady compose her program and deliver it so effectively! This was Kristy's last event with the GFSC. We wish her well as she heads off the college in the fall.
